Our purpose-built care facility was created to provide an exceptional living environment for our residents here at Woodlands Care Home. With our all-inclusive luxury facilities, our aim is to support the varying interests and hobbies of our future residents.

We believe that every resident should have the opportunity to lead a rich and active lifestyle. Our Events & Well-being Coordinator works closely with residents to gain an understanding of the range of interests and hobbies in order to provide suitable activities and ensure everyone is satisfied.

Luxury Suites

Each of our suites have been decorated beautifully and designed to offer maximum comfort with a modern yet homely feel. Every suite has been well-furnished with flat screen televisions, desks, armchairs, and profiling beds. Our ground floor bedrooms boast their own private gardens and patio for the epitome of luxury.

Fine Dining

The dining options accessible to our residents are endless. From eating meals in their own private space or one of our elegantly designed dining rooms, to our private dining room with family or on the garden patios when the weather is nice, the choice is ultimately theirs. Our in-house Chef and kitchen staff works hard to provide a variety of tasty meals on a seasonal menu for residents to choose from each day.

Arts & Crafts

Residents will be able to get creative in a number of ways with our regular arts & crafts sessions. These sessions are great for socialising and will allow residents to try something new and or develop a skill such as painting, drawing, flower arranging, and decoration making and where residents can admire their masterpieces and feel a sense of achievement.

Events & Well-being Programme

We recognise the importance of encouraging our residents to live an active and social lifestyle. With an activities room and dedicated coordinators, our weekly programme will offer a variety of stimulating activities and entertainment such as playing games, baking, dancing, singing and day trips out into the local community and Aberdeen’s city centre.

Landscaped Gardens

We have a landscaped garden for residents to use at their leisure, whether that’s partaking in some gardening, taking a stroll or dining al fresco style on a warm summer’s day. We believe it’s important for residents to get some fresh air and to keep active on a regular basis. Our garden will also have its own children’s play area for the grandchildren of residents.

Hair & Nail Salon

We understand the importance of looking and feeling good, which is why we have our very own Hair & Nail Salon that we encourage all residents to use as often as possible. Our staff of hair and beauty professionals will perform any hair or nail treatment residents request, and this service is included within our weekly fees.

Our Library is a quiet, cosy space where residents who are bookworms, or simply like to have some time to themselves can unwind. With an extensive book collection, there won’t be a shortage of choice as we have a variation of genres to suit all genres. Magazines and newspapers are also available for those who enjoy light reading.
